IP Violation and Removal Policy

1. Terminology and Explanation

In this Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  • “Operational Day” refers to any day excluding Saturday or Sunday when conventional banks are open for their full range of normal business operations.
  • “Violation Material” denotes any content disseminated by the Corporation that is claimed (and/or established) to violate any Intellectual Property Rights.
  • “Intellectual Property Rights” include patents, rights in inventions, rights in designs, trademarks, trade and business identities, goodwill, rights to sue for misrepresentation or unfair competition, copyright, moral rights, rights in databases, topography rights, domain names, rights in confidential information (including trade secrets), and all other similar or equivalent rights worldwide, whether registered or unregistered, including all applications, renewals, or extensions of such rights.
  • “Notification” signifies a message received by the Corporation advising of an alleged violation.

2. Notification and Removal

While the Corporation takes reasonable steps to ensure all content complies with applicable Intellectual Property Rights, the possibility of inadvertent violations cannot be fully eliminated.

If you identify content belonging to you that you believe the Corporation has used without proper authorization, you should contact us promptly following the procedures outlined below.


3. Notification Procedure

If you identify material protected by Intellectual Property Rights belonging to you within content on our website, please contact the Corporation as soon as possible using the following method:

Send a detailed message to the Corporation via the form at the bottom of this page, including the following information:

  1. Your name, contact details, and preferred method of communication.
  2. Specific details of the content you believe to be infringing. This may include URLs, screenshots, highlighted copies of the content, or other relevant evidence.
  3. A description of the alleged violation.
  4. Evidence of your ownership of the Intellectual Property Rights in the Violation Material or proof that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

The Corporation will acknowledge receipt of all Notifications within 7 Operational Days.


4. Evaluation and Removal

Upon receiving a Notification, the Corporation will:

  1. Conduct a preliminary evaluation to assess the credibility and legitimacy of the claim.
  2. Temporarily remove or restrict access to the Violation Material while an investigation is conducted.
  3. Contact third parties involved in the content creation or distribution to verify their rights to the material, if applicable.
  4. Seek legal counsel when necessary to address any potential violations.

After completing the evaluation, the Corporation will communicate the findings to the complainant and propose an appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Retaining the material if no violation is found.
  • Replacing the material without changes and without requiring licensing fees.
  • Replacing the material under the terms of a negotiated paid license.
  • Modifying the material to eliminate violating elements.
  • Permanently removing the material.

5. Settlement of Complaints

The Corporation is committed to resolving complaints promptly and fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached, the material in question will remain removed indefinitely unless and until an acceptable resolution is agreed upon.

If the complaint escalates to legal proceedings, the material will remain removed, and the matter will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.


6. Modifications to this Policy

The Corporation reserves the right to amend this Policy at its discretion to ensure compliance with legal obligations or as deemed necessary. Any changes will be published on this page.
